Thai food

There are no good Thai places to eat in this town.I think what this town needs is a good Thai rest.

Any thoughts?? Or does anyone know of a good place to get Thai food??

I hope we get either a Thai or Vietnamese restaurant — but only if it's authentic with a native chef. (With the exception of I-Ho's Korean Grill and Watanabe, all the Asian food in town seems too mid-westernized.) So many people here seem to crave ethnic cooking that I think it would be a sure-fire success.

Toy's Thai (sp?) in Helena is supposedly the best Thai around. I haven't been there but I've heard lots of good reports.

I am dying for a good thai restaurant. I have said it since I moved here. Why if there is a university in town isn't there one? I read an article in MT Quarterly that there is one in another MT town that is always swamped, like standing room only. I think we should import someone or three or four people to start on up. The korean one here, and the chinese places just don't cut it. I want real curry and lots of it. Also a little pad thai thrown in! Know anyone we can convince of starting something up?

Okay so maybe it is a little ridiculous to take the (free) bus from town all the way to Big Sky Town Center just to get a decent Thai meal, but dayum they do serve good food, it's always packed in there (get a reservation!), and they were recently voted best new restaurant in the Big Sky Weekly.

Sometimes I order a whole passel of meals, take them home, and for a week my fridge smells like a little bit o' Thailand. I probably make the bus smell too, but it can't be any worse than the construction workers and sweaty skiers!

There used to be "Smilers", where "18 miles to the Border" is now.
And by the way what happened to "Little Pinay Market", it's a shame to see it gone.
