The media have been saying for some time now that Obama has it wrapped up. I now fall in line with that but I have felt it wasn't over till Edwards supported Obama. And I'm not sure that the media's insistance that it was over didn't help make it so. Regardless, the last primaries are now so close, that it's pointless for Clinton to bow out now. Who knows what scandals may show up in the next week. I suspect Clinton knows it's over, but she would be forever known as a quitter if she left the race now. I think some Democrats have become alienated by the race so far, and for her to leave it now would give the impression it was all for nothing and it would make matters worse. Finally there is the gender issue. If she were to quit now, all the good old boys could say that a woman doesn't have what it takes. |

She may get the nomination. She may even become president. But, to elect someone, anyone because they are black or female is wrong. She is not even a descent person. Can't say Obama (racist white hater) or McCain (mafia) are much better. But, they are just one notch above HILLARY. |

| I was really hoping that Clinton would get the nomination because I really do believe that McCain would beat her. If it's Obama against McCain, it's going to be a close election. I just hope this year Florida can count. | |

Amazing that Bill's "spokesman" is from Bozeman, well not really... Butte! I am pretty sure that this guy is the same one, who followed Conrad Burns around with a video camera, harrassing him day and night. Same guy worked for Testor, Schweitzer, and one other here in Montana. Imagine, following Burns around looking for dirt...Then going to work for Hillary. Gotta have a twisted mind to do that. |

There is no way Hillary can win against the GOP smear machine. They have way too much ammunition they've collected since '91. The GOP wants her to get the Dem nomination because they know they can tear her apart with Swift Boat like tactics they've used in the past. Whether any smear tactics are true or not doesn't seem to matter any more. Any little half truth can be turned into a fiasco. Karl Rove wants Clinton as McCain's adversary in November. She will be much easier to beat...or smear...than Obama. Sad but true. |
