| Nothing like a "christian" company being war profiteers. And it certainly helps validate the extremist muslim view that we are fighting a religious war against them. You know, a "Crusade" as our previous president so thoughtfully called it. I hope these fake christians are happy that they are bringing more terrorists to the battlefield with their stupidity, resulting in the deaths of more American soldiers. I'm sure Jesus would be proud. | |

| Oh you sillies. He's pointing the gun at satan, don't you see? I love Montanans. I really miss you guys. Seriously though, who is going to be looking at a bunch of codes on a gun when they are in a war? They are going to be SHOOTING the gun. I am personally getting really sick of the geniuses (genii?) in power telling us what we can't do because we might "offend" someone too. It makes me think of, um, 9/11/01; Fort Hood; Mr. Hotpants terrorist from Somalia... | |

| This war IS RELIGIOUS! Why cant YOU see that? Where have you been for the past 30 some-odd years? The terrorists are and have been the same religion. They do and have had the same goal, which is to islamicize the world. Take a look at what's going on in europe some time if you can tear yourself away from NPR long enough. | |

| Contrary to what "the One" claims, we are a Christian country. So if that is the case, then we are sending the message-ready for this? THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY AND IF YOU WANT TO SHOOT OUR GUNS, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. Thats the message I want to send. Enough with the PC already. | |

I think military personnel should be allowed to special order a scope with the Christian message which they could pay for out of their own personal funds. Some people may find comfort from the messages while on the field of battle. I am sure that the manufacturer would be happy to handle special orders. This way we deal with the exceptions rather than the rule. Doing it this way does not infringe upon one's freedoms. Peace |

| Oh, that's right. We're not allowed to mention the word, "Christian." Have you all noticed that? I've already seen the reaction to that word at christmas time and in the public school. Every other religion in the universe is acceptable but Christians. Just remember, Mr. NPR, it isnt' the Christians who are chopping peoples' heads off and flying our own planes into buildings full of people. | ||

| I'm not even remotely a progressive, nor anti-religious. I am however against so called christians who claim to be followers of Jesus but don't even remotely live a life that he would be proud of. I am also against muslims who preach with bombs and guns, which in this case, muslims and christians are nearly identical. | ||

I'm not talking about a stupid pix. I'm talking about what is taking place in America and in the world as we speak. Progressive = no religion, in my opinion. You don't mind killing your innocent unborn babies but will stage your little protests to save the life of a mass murder who is to be executed. I hear all the righteous indigation on this thread about busting a cap, but where are all you guys when we see the lawlessness in our ghettos and on our streets by people who don't even have LEGAL firearms or the LEGAL RIGHT to even be in this country? This is happening all over the country. Of course, they are all disaffected youth. Heck, why better yourself, go to college and get a good job when you can carry a piece and sell crack on the street corner for $1,000/day. Where are you when the drug cartels are on the border slaughtering innocent Americans, shooting cops sitting in a restaurant, or military recruiters, setting their pants on fire on airplanes with the hope of blowing up yet another bunch of inoccents? Where are you when a moslem extremist MURDERS unarmed soldiers at Ft. Hood. Where were you on 9/11? You hypocrites, sitting in your homes in your purple haze with your zenlike homes and your budda sitting in your living room. You live in your own little worlds... FInally, read the story in the bible about when Jesus threw out the money changers from the temple. He wasn't exactly turning the other cheek that day. He was pretty torqued, if I remember correctly. You can interpret that any way you want to, but he did not mean for us to throw him and our morals away. Christ died for OUR sins and so that you and your sorry keisters would have a chance at salvation. Of course, he always lets us have free will, unlike the muzzies, who proseletyze at the point of a sword. What takes place on judgement day will be between you and the Lord is not to be known until that day. I only know that we all have one life and then the judgment. No chance at coming back as a bug. If you choose to sell out Christ and the greatest country (christian) that ever existed, then you will reap what you sew. (That's kind of like Karma for those of you from LA). Most of the native Montanans I have known are not secular progressives either and I lived in Bzm for three years. They believed in their God, the Lord Jesus Christ, freedom and in the right to bear arms. But whatever. Believe what you want. |

Wow...I had no idea. Thanks for enlightening me. Especially about the part where you lived in Bozeman for 3 years...so NOW you KNOW how most Bozemanites and Montanans are JUST LIKE YOU.!! Dream on newyorker. And always remember, my religion, deity and god are the best. Isn't everyone's? That's why wars have been fought for thousands of years...so...I WILL believe what I want and it doesn't include you citing scripture to me. (to borrow a phrase from LD) Peace |

to the New Yacker: You sound like a real piece of work. You really have nothing better to do than cast snide remarks on the message board of a town you briefly lived in several years ago? That is pretty lame, my friend. Back on topic tho'... Glad to see the picture stirred more interest than the topic, which means some of you missed the point entirely. I am not surprise even a little bit. We all knew Trijicon would fold on this because that is a helluva huge contract to lose otherwise. They should have, it was wrong of the gov to pick up that maker in the first place. |

| I agree belgradepsc, (although I don't think Christ would expect us not to defend ourselves and our families when pushed to that limit). But this picture is just abominable. "Onward Christian Soldiers" was a song that was about disarming people, not at the point of a gun, but with the word of God, to bring them into the family of God through Love. This picture is very Schizophrenic, in my opinion. Violence and Love become confused. Confusion is a trick of Satan. | ||
