The new breed of politician. A celebrity, a pundit, a snarky know nothing. I give you the front runner for the 2012 Presidential campaign. |

...for hope and change. Is it going to happen? Fingers still crossed. I also hope...for the GOP and the country, that the GOP finds a more worthy candidate for prez in 2012. |

| Ha! The only alternative to Obama is a far left candidate. And don't say he's far left, because you haven't seen far left. | ||

| I really doubt that Sarah Palin is going to be put up as a serious candidate for President. If they do run her, the Republican party is really stupid. I think, at most, she may be asked to run as V.P. to whoever the party does choose. | |

| I think it may be a possibility, and fairly strong at that. here is my reasoning: She is more likely to reject establishment pressure not to run than a normal candidate, she has a group of motivated people the Republicans need to maintain hold of if they are to have a chance at winning, and many in the Republican/Tea Party are frustrated enough with establishment candidates that they are more open to radicals. | ||

AB and Bel, both good points. Long way to 2012, not going to be boring. Nope, not one bit. |

Define "Patriot"

Everyone calls themselves a patriot, but what exactly are her qualifications? Why is she more "patriotic" than say, Barack Obama. Keep in mind, her husband belonged to a group who's leader literally said he hated the US. So, I don't want to hear any attack on Obama's patriotism for comparison, I want to hear what exactly makes her a patriot. Besides her contempt for half of the country to which she is supposedly so patriotic. I believe you actually have to do something, not out of self interest, for your country before you can stand under that banner. I believe most people who contribute to their country with no self interest rarely ever call themselves patriots. They just are. No one doubts it. They only doubt it about people who feel the need to hear it said about them. |

| I'm not sure I've ever heard of Sarah Palin calling herself a patriot. The only ones I've ever heard do that are some politicians trying to convince others that they were not unpatriotic, and then they had to redefine 'patriot' to fit their actions. | ||

A person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion. A U.S. Army antiaircraft missele with a range of 37 miles. A rights robbing act enacted out of fear. ( so we were told) PICK ONE! |
