Loading carpets?

Are the loading carpets at Bridger Bowl reducing lift stoppage and increasing the volume of skiers up the mountain?  That is the claim of the product, does anyone notice a difference from previous years?  Should BB install another loading carpet at the base of the new lift?  The complaint of the new proposed lift is a reduction in uphill capacity, 3 skiers per chair instead of 4.  Will a larger motor on the new lift and loading carpets manage this issue?

the loading carpets are okay. Probably makes it easier on kids and the aged. Those lifts are pretty ancient so I would have to guess that the new one will be a bit more efficient and faster.
Can't imagine wanting to make things less efficient, so I hope they did an objective cost benefit analysis on the situation.
