Yeah, that's disturbing. As stated in your second link, mercury "enters the environment almost wholly as atmospheric emissions from industrial processes, primarily the burning of coal for electricity". Using less electricity would seem to be a good idea, wouldn't you agree? |

All these fluorescent bulbs we'll be mandated to use will save emissions but only if people dispose of them properly and don't break them intentionally or by accident. Mercury in them vaporizes in- stantly, settles and winds up the same place as the emissions. For those who get head- aches from flourescent lights, they'll be living in the dark alot. |

Does anyone know if the death rate has outpaced the birthrate in Bozeman now. There seem to be more obits than new babies when you look at the weekly BDC obit list -vs- the BDH virtual nursery photos. Or are more babies being born outside the hospital? |
